What is God?

What is God?
Where the God came from?
How God exist?
And why we even exist?
Where could be this "why" quiry will leads me to?
Those queries are just simple but not apparently easy to answer. If it is cognitively that simple, nations to nations of distinct belief, would'nt have gone into war which its origin of disputes can be traced down from the deeply rooted different generated religion.
My intent of those above questions are not to persevere of seeking answers out of those. On the contrary, I wanted to boil down to the "Thought" that processing such oddities. Written here are just my personal insights that is not intending to convey anybody, nor cogitating the mystery of God, but rather trying to directly ask our own "self" that bring to the "thought" & thereby substantiating the "thought" that projects the "Self".
Before continuing reading ahead. First, please try to pause for a while and follow below instruction, try to perform below just for within a minutes;
...take a deep breath, holding it while breathing out in a slowly manner
...keep your eyes open while staring at nothing
...then, feel & hear your breathing,
...breath without controlling, breath naturally.
...
Now, pls try to cogitate these questions below earnestly with your thoughts;
Do not leave below questions unless your thought is transform into something.
What was your original face before you were born?
What are you before you remember things?
What is the sound of one hand clapping?
If all things return to one, where does that one return to?
What are those memories that you still can remember since the first time that you start remembering?
What if you were born not from your recognized mother, nor from your known birth place, nor from you‘re accustomed belief?
If that so, try to conceive of what could be your mind?...& your thinking?...& your way of living?
Then, try to comprehend this again.
What are the sounds of one hand clapping? (Think deeply again)
The only permanent thing in this world is change! What if you changed your mind for a while just for a minute or an hour? Can you do that?
"Most people are afraid to empty their mind, fearing of the void, what they don't realize is that their own mind itself is a void." - a zen quote
After trying to change your mind already, ask your ownself about that mental thought that tries to change your own mind - who is that?
Is it still the same "You" that perceives & projects the "mind"?
Or the "Thought" that projects the "Self"?
Pls try ponder below simple poem...
Coming empty handed, going empty handed - that human.
When you are born, where do you come from?
When you die, where do you go?
Life is ike a floating cloud which appears.
Death is like a floating cloud which disappears.
But there is one thing which always remains clear.
It is "pure" and "clear", which not depending on life and death.
then what is that "one" pure and clear thing?
Then again think it over, as to why do I keep on asking those kinds of questions now?
The question itself is the expression of the "mind or thought" but not of the self". The mind is not the self. The self is universal. When one is with the "Self". One can draws closer to God, or, a quite understanding of "how things work". When one is enlightened, he discerned how things work. For he discerns it, thus, he knows "how" to elucidate.
I just have a conviction out from my perception that those who already arrived upon the so-called; "enlightenment:, "self realization", "knowing-thyself", they were able to shedlights on. Suchlike; Jesus, Lao-Tzu, Confucius, Plato, Socrates, Gautama Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi, Rizal & etc. They are just few of the exceptional whom able to drew out from the "Self". The universal "Self" that if you want to define it through constant meditation it will draws you closer to "Nothing" & commentary conclusion of "I don't know".
When you will be with the "essence of the self" it's like seeing & acquainting a complete intimate familiar stranger.
So, again, go back to the heading - Where could be the "Why" brings me to?
Merely, my response is that it brings me to "Nothing".
So, if you ask me that question -" What is God?" ,
my answer is simply - "I don't know"

lagim! u've got a nice article.. please do post some interisting scripts.. hehehe ü
intersting hub... not who is God, but WHAT is God. Very intersting stuff.
If God is all, God is also nothing. The void. Because any attempt to say "God is..." means you are objectifying the "All" that is God and to do that you need to step outside of All and that isn't possible. Because All doesn't have a space around it, because it is it Everything is no-thing :-)
Ask God sincerely to show you who He Is and why you are here. God bless.
look the things around you how it work and you'll know God is alive and true
